2026 AAHHE Annual Conference

Conference Venue
The 2026 AAHHE Conference will be held in-person at San Diego State University.
The best address for the SDSU campus is 5954 Hardy Avenue, San Diego, CA 92182. This is the address for SDSU's Student Union where most of the conference will take place.
Conference Schedule
You can refer to the AAHHE conference schedule detailing the events for each day. Attendees need to download the AAHHE conference app to view more details.
Conference App
Download the AAHHE Conference app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store via the instructions below. Please be sure to download this year’s conference app on your mobile device prior to arriving on campus.
Once you've downloaded the app, you will need to sign in as an Attendee using the email you used to register for the conference; otherwise, you will not be recognized as an attendee and won't be able to access the conference events and details.
APPLE STORE
- Search for “AAHHE” or scan the QR code below
- You should see “AAHHE” in the results
- Click on ‘GET’
- Download the app to your phone
- Open the app
- Click the profile icon located at the top right of the app home page to log in
- Follow the prompts on the screen to obtain an access code
- Make sure to use the email you registered with
- Enter the access code sent to your email
- You should now have access to the event
- Now that you’re logged in, you can make edits to your profile by clicking on the profile button at the top right of the home page

GOOGLE PLAY STORE
- Search for “AAHHE” or scan the QR Code below
- You should see “AAHHE” in the results. If the app does not appear in the search results, use quotes around the app name.
- Click on ‘Install’
- Download the app to your phone
- Click on ‘open’
- Click the profile icon located at the top right of the app home page to log in
- Follow the prompts on the screen to obtain an access code
- Make sure to use the email you registered with
- Enter the access code sent to your email
- You should now have access to the event
- Now that you’re logged in, you can make edits to your profile by clicking on the profile button at the top right of the home page
Note: Android version is 5.1 or later is required to run the app

Conference Wifi
Attendees can use the "Conference Services" network.
Username: AAHHE 2026 Password: Conference (with a capital "C")
This will be a one-time login for the whole weekend, but attendees need to make sure they're connected to the "Conference Services" network and not the "Guest" network.
Prayer/Meditation Room
The prayer/meditation rooms will be available on Friday in the Center for Intercultural Relations. On Saturday/Sunday, if anyone needs access to a room, we can ask the Information Booth staff and they'll open a room as needed.
Lactation Room
Guests throughout the conference can check in with SDSU staff at the Information Booth if they need access to the Lactation Room (Goodfriend Lounge). The room requires swipe access so SDSU staff will need to assist with showing guests how to use the room.
Gender Neutral Bathrooms
Gender neutral restrooms are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. View a map of the gender neutral bathrooms here: https://as.sdsu.edu/useruploads/files/forms/restroomlocations.pdf.
Transportation
Conference attendees are responsible for their own transportation.
For public transportation instructions, attendees can use a rideshare app or take a taxi to the SDSU campus. Here is a helpful link for more detailed campus directions. Attendees can also utilize the San Diego trolley system and take the Green Line from Hotel Circle to the SDSU campus.

Parking
General parking will be available for attendees on campus. The daily-choice parking rate will be $4.75 per day (including fees) in four parking areas:

- Parking Structure 4
- Parking Lot 17/17A/17B
- Parking Lot 15
This rate is available exclusively through the PayByPhone app/website.

Registration
Registration is open! Early registration will last through Friday, January 30, 2026. Registration has a maximum capacity of 400, so register early! For more details about conference registration and fees, please visit here.
Please note that registration for the main conference and the pre-conference sessions are under two different registration forms. Registering for a pre-conference session does not automatically register you for the main conference.
