Dianne Valdivia has been working in higher education for over 13 years. She serves as the Director of Advisement and Career Services and an Adjunct Professor in Social Sciences at Miami Dade College. Her professional experience includes roles in advancement, student programming, human resources, and finance. She is also a member of the Organization Development Network, American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education, and Association of Florida Colleges, where she serves on the Student Development Commission's Executive Board. Dianne received her Master of Science in Higher Education and Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University. She is currently pursuing an EdD in Organizational Leadership at Barry University, where she is specializing in Human Resource Development. Her dissertation will focus on succession planning and talent development. Dianne is the Treasurer of the Chi Sigma Alpha International Student Affairs Honor Society at Barry and enjoys helping students succeed in college and beyond.
